Romans 12:1 (NKJV) – I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.

The members of this ministry play a vital role in our services by collectively lifting their voices in praise.  During the worship experience, they usher in the presence of the Holy Spirit and set the atmosphere for authentic praise and worship.  They serve through song, preparing our hearts and minds to receive a word from God.

A group of men assembled to work as a team to conduct the business matters of PMBC in accordance with the will of God.

Seeks to promote a welcoming atmosphere at the worship services by acknowledging members and visitors with greetings and the love of Christ.

Offers fellowship between married couples while providing Godly instruction which helps to strengthen marital unions.

Monitors the sound system, records selections and sermons on CD, and handles the sale and distribution of these recordings.

This ministry seeks to carry out the great commission of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to prepare candidates for baptism, to visit the sick and shut-in, and to minister to our bereaved members.

Members of this ministry serve by attending to the needs of the Pastor and the members of the congregation wherever needed.

Provides assistance with parking and ensuring the smooth flow of traffic into and out of the parking lot, as well as providing security for the members, visitors and their vehicles.

Partners with Crossroads Prison Ministries to connect prisoners with mentors in Christ-centered relationships and helps spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

This ministry provides opportunities for learning, fun, and fellowship for the Seniors (ages 60+) in the ministry.

The Progressive Missionary Baptist Church (PMBC) Shepherd’s Ministry lovingly serves our Pastor and First Lady through prayers, support and encouraging words and deeds. Our mission is to edify the Shepherd which God has placed over the PMBC family and to show appreciation to the pastor for his leadership and his spiritual guidance

Ensures that the unmarried members of our ministry have opportunities to be ministered to and provides opportunities for singles to experience good Christian fellowship.

Provides a learning environment where one can obtain better knowledge of God, experience His love and develop a lifelong relationship with Him.

Responsible for all of the business and temporal affairs of the church in addition to the fiduciary duties of the ministry.

Assists in ushering in the presence of God during the worship experience by offering assistance wherever needed.

Focus is on the young people of our Church and community.  We strive to build up God-fearing, Bible-believing youth who know their purpose in life, and who strengthen and use their God-given gifts for the glory of God.  The Youth Ministry includes:  Boys to MENistry (mentoring program for boys ages 10-18), PMBC Youth Choir, Warriors of Worship (praise dance team) and Young Ladies of Virtue (mentoring program for girls ages 10-18)
